Manuscript developmental coaching package

Now you have received your manuscript assessment, you may like to follow it up with some developmental coaching to assist you to make your story the best it can be. 

Inclusions:

Ten powerful sessions with your fiction writing coach including private one-to-one Zoom sessions plus intensive written work on your manuscript by both you and your coach. 

These are all individually designed sessions for your manuscript, to help mine your creativity and build your story structure, character development and scene breakdown.

Planning session (2 x 1-hour sessions)

During these sessions, your writing coach will help you identify the writing goals you would like to achieve from these coaching sessions.
In the first planning session, you will focus on story structure and character development. In the second planning session, the focus will move to scene breakdown.

One-to-one intensive coaching (4 x 2-hour sessions)

During your tailored coaching sessions, your writing coach will help you achieve your specific writing goals. You will benefit from the teaching of technical skills as well as connection to creativity and accountability.
In these intensive one-to-one sessions, you and your writing coach will work directly on your manuscript, focusing first on story structure and character development, then moving on to scene breakdown.

Written coursework with feedback (4 sessions)

Writing work and personalised feedback will be undertaken by you and your coach between each coaching session. 
During each session your fiction coach will set specific tasks directly based on your coaching. When your coursework is handed in, your fiction coach will spend hours reviewing your work and provide detailed written feedback line by line on each area of focus. You will be able to see your writing evolve and your story structure improve, your scenes tighten, and your characters deepen and develop as you go through this course. The length of this written work and feedback will depend on the size of the package purchased.

You’ll also be supplied with resources on fiction writing techniques to keep in your toolkit of writer’s skills and refer back to whenever you need.

What’s Next? Once the Developmental Coaching sessions are complete, it is time to sit down and work on your manuscript, utilising all that you have learnt. Once you have done this, your manuscript is ready for to start the editing process.
